This policy explains what AxionVolt Charging Systems, Inc. does with personal information collected through axionvolt.com. It is written to be read rather than to be impenetrable.
What we collect
If you submit a quote or survey request, we collect the name, email address, city and project details you provide. If you email us, we keep that correspondence. We do not require an account and we do not ask for payment details through this website.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, schedule a survey, and where relevant submit rebate or utility applications on your behalf. Site addresses and electrical details are used for engineering purposes and to pull permits.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not share your contact details with lead-generation networks.
- We do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary to deliver the work: permitting authorities when we file on your behalf, the utility when we submit a service or rebate application you have asked for, and our own staff. Where a service provider processes data for us, they are bound to use it only for that purpose.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are retained for two years. Completed project records are retained for the duration of the warranty plus the period required by California contracting and tax rules, then deleted.
Your California privacy rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents may request to know what personal information we hold about them, request deletion of that information, request correction of inaccurate information, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information, so the last right is satisfied by default. Exercising these rights will never result in worse service or pricing.
