Load sharing is the feature that decides your budget
Say twelve employees want workplace charging. Wired conventionally, that is twelve dedicated 50-amp circuits — 600 amps of capacity, which almost certainly means a new service, a new transformer, and a PG&E project measured in quarters rather than weeks.
With dynamic load sharing, those twelve ports sit on a shared feeder with a fixed ceiling. The units negotiate continuously: two cars plugged in get full power each, twelve cars split the available amperage. Since a workplace vehicle is parked for eight hours and needs perhaps three hours of charge, drivers reach full anyway. The same twelve ports can run on 200 amps instead of 600.
This is the difference between a project you can fund this quarter and one that needs a capital request. It is the first thing we model during a commercial survey.

On OCPP and lock-in. The AX-Fleet 80 speaks OCPP 1.6J, an open protocol. If you ever want to move to a different network operator, the hardware comes with you. Chargers tied to a proprietary network become expensive paperweights the moment you want to switch vendors — that is a real risk worth avoiding.

Individual billing is the sticking point in shared parking, and it is solved here: each session is attributed to a resident, so charging costs land on the right person rather than the common area budget.
Light fleet depots
Vans and sedans returning overnight rarely need DC fast charging. Scheduled charging windows let you avoid peak demand charges, which is usually a larger line item than the electricity itself.
