Say twelve employees want workplace charging. Wired conventionally, that is twelve dedicated 50-amp circuits — 600 amps of capacity, which almost certainly means a new service, a new transformer, and a PG&E project measured in quarters rather than weeks.
With dynamic load sharing, those twelve ports sit on a shared feeder with a fixed ceiling. The units negotiate continuously: two cars plugged in get full power each, twelve cars split the available amperage. Since a workplace vehicle is parked for eight hours and needs perhaps three hours of charge, drivers reach full anyway. The same twelve ports can run on 200 amps instead of 600.
This is the difference between a project you can fund this quarter and one that needs a capital request. It is the first thing we model during a commercial survey.
